How did it get to be August? Seriously. I have a Westchester Wedding this weekend so I’ll be sure and update you all next week. In the meantime… Happy hump day with today’s WED FAVORITES!
I love this… so delicate and feminine.
LOVE these. I’m a big fan of making your wedding bouquet be more than just “pretty.” Use it to honor a family member, or honor your new life together. These are super sweet and classic. Plus you can just tie them on. Easy- peasy. They’re also featured in the Aug/Sept ’09 issue of Modern Bride.
Love me some froof. You know it. PLUS these have beautiful love notes written on them. Amazing.
That’s all for now… new BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING Real Weddings and Engagement Photos coming up!
Clearly, I love personalizing things. Obviously. These personalized bags from LaFlor are ADORABLE. They’re an Etsy seller. You know I love Etsy, and I seriously LOVE these bags. This is such an adorable option to match the fabric to your girls. Fill it with makeup, lip gloss and moisturizers and stuff into a cute welcome basket or offer up to your bridesmaids at your bachelorette party as a little thank you! They’re made from 100% cotton and range from $8- $12. Plus if you order more than 2 bags, LaFlor offers a 10% discount!
Choose your own fabrics…
Also… off topic, but totally worth noting. I really love their pillows too.
New bridesmaid dresses from Ann Taylor for Spring 2009. I for one am very happy the Ann Taylor dresses are back! (Even if they are a little bit more expensive than they used to be.) They’re still very chic, simple and elegant.
From Left to Right: Iridescent Dupioni Dress by Unger for Ann Taylor $229, Crossdye Dupioni Flower Sash Dress $199, Karen Crossdye Dupioni Dress with Charmeuse Waist $199
Well ladies there’s finally something practical to do with that closet full of taffeta and satin. Modern Bride is partnering with Planet Hope for a rockin’ day of beauty, shopping and fashion all to benefit Planet Hope!
Planet Hope is a charity created by sisters Kelly and Sharon Stone to provide hope for a better life by offering new clothes for kids, counseling and image makeovers for homeless women and women who have been victims of domestic violence.
If you’re based in the NYC area ladies, an old bridesmaid dress is your FREE ticket into the Hammerstein Ballroom for Project Bridesmaids on Saturday, March 7.
RSVP here and enjoy a fun filled day with your friends for a very worthy cause!
I know. I know. This isn’t “REAL” In every sense of the word… BUT it is HILARIOUSLY FUNNY. And any bridesmaid can certainly relate to the antics in this video. It’s wroth an afternoon giggle if nothing else.
